When you're a guest at the Inn at Middletown, you'll be a short drive away from a thrilling zip line experience at Empower Leadership Sports & Adventure Center. • How High Is The Zip-Lining Course?

  The zip line canopy adventure has platforms as high as 75 feet in the air, but you start off easy on a platform that is 10 feet off of the ground. The course is about one-half mile long and consists of five different zip lines that range in length from 200 to 650 feet. Along your journey, you'll also encounter two adventure sky bridges or a cargo net and multi-vine traverse.

• What Should I Wear When I Go Zip Lining?

  First off, you should wear comfortable clothes along with close-toed shoes (think tennis shoes). Please avoid skirts and any clothing that is loose-fitting, including scarves. If you have long hair, be sure that it's tied back. Dangling jewelry is not recommended, either. Lastly, it's important to dress for the weather. Rain will not cancel your zip line tour.
