What's more, there are snow-making capabilities and lights on 90 percent of the trails, allowing for fun late-night runs. And during the spring, summer, and fall seasons, mountain biking reigns supreme.

    • What Is The Highest Elevation At Powder Ridge Ski Area?

      You will find that Powder Ridge Ski Area does not skimp on elevation. The peak point of this popular Middlefield, Connecticut destination is approximately 720 feet above sea level. As for the base, it can be found some 170 feet below. When you do the math, the total vertical drop weighs in at 550 feet, which delivers no shortage of thrills.
    • How Many Trails Are At Powder Ridge Ski Area?

      There are 19 trails at Powder Ridge, covering over 80 skiable acres. Nearly half of the trails are designed for beginners with one-third set aside for intermediate skiers and just under 25 percent earmarked for those who fall into the advanced category. Terrain park features can be found on about 20 percent of the ski area. Their 365 Synthetic Snow Park is open year-round for skiing and snow tubing fun.
