  • What will I see on a Tour of Wadsworth Mansion?

One of the highlights of the guided tour is the History Room where you can enjoy an up-close-and-personal look at the furniture that’s been generously donated by the Wadsworth Family. Detail-oriented docents will fill you in on the entire background of the Estate at Long Hill along with the recent $5 million dollar renovation. Group tours are available and physically challenged visitors will be able to enjoy the Mansion as well as it is ADA-accessible.
  • how long are the trails at Wadsworth Mansion?

The Perimeter Trail is 1.5 miles long. It’s mostly flat but if you take it the entire way, you’ll get a good workout as it climbs to the top of Long Hill where stunning views await you. The Inner Trail is one-half mile long and is actually the estate’s original driveway. You’ll be treated to curved brownstone walls and a wealth of white oak trees. If there’s an event at the Mansion, it’s important not to hike near the main building so as to not disturb the guests.
